Audrey Frith Gaspard

PORT ACRES – Audrey Frith Gaspard, 80, of Port Acres, Texas passed away Sunday, October 22, 2006 at her residence. She was a homemaker and member of St. Theresa Little Flower Catholic Church. She was a loving mother, and dedicated to her family.

She was survived by her son, Steve C. Gaspard, Sr. of Vidor, TX; daughter, Shelva Dean Miguez and husband, Ray of Port Acres and daughter, Sheila K. Elizondo and husband, George of LaBelle, TX; 9 grandsons; 12 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Tish LeMaire, Ester Suire, Juanita Crochet, and Anita Smith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George L. Gaspard, Sr.; sons, David G. Gaspard and George L. Gaspard, Jr.; 7 brother; and two sisters.

A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at Heritage Funeral Home Nederland, TX.

Services will be Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Theresa Little Flower Catholic Church and burial at Harrington Cemetery in Cow Island, LA at 4:00 p.m.

Sherry Lynette Turner

PORT ARTHUR – Sherry Lynette Turner, 56, of Port Arthur, Texas died Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.

Sherry was born on October 26, 1949 in Port Arthur, Texas to William Peer and Gloria Rhodes Peer. She was a lifelong area resident and l968 graduate of Port Neches – Groves High School. She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and Day Care Director of Wee Care in Port Arthur.

Funeral services will be at l0:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves, Texas with Reverend Gary Turner and Reverend John Cullen officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2006 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband Reverend Gary Turner of Port Arthur, Texas; daughter, Kelli Thibodeaux of Bridge City, Texas; sons, Stephen Morgan of Beaumont, Texas and William Morgan of Dallas, Texas; five grandchildren, Madeline Thibodeaux, Coy James Thibodeaux, Kaydence Thibodeaux, Eli Morgan, and Jordan Morgan.
