The following incidents were reported to the Groves police for investigation during the week:
Tuesday, July 11
• The back window of a 2003 GMC truck was reported to have been broken out with an unknown object.
• A 39-year-old man was arrested on two outstanding Jefferson County warrants in the 3300 block of Main Avenue.
• A 23-year-old man was arrested on outstanding Jefferson County warrants at a home in the 3800 block of Stuart Avenue.
Monday, July 10
• A riding and a push lawnmower were reported stolen from a home in the 4700 block of Roosevelt Avenue.
• A 45-year-old woman was arrested for evading in a vehicle after failing to stop after a traffic offense in the 5000 block of Hogaboom Road.
• The owner of a business in the 3200 block of Pure Atlantic Road reported that windows of the business were damaged with what appears to be a BB gun.
• A wallet was reported stolen from a vehicle while parked in the 4800 block of Twin City Highway.
• A 25-year-old woman was arrested on outstanding Nederland warrants in the 4800 block of Twin City Highway.
Sunday, July 9
• A 25-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding Jefferson County in the 5000 block of 32nd Street.
• Prescription medication was reported stolen from a home in the 2900 block of Main Avenue.
• Two vehicles parked at a home in the 6200 block of East Drive were reported to have been damaged.
• Windows of a business in the 3300 block of Pure Atlantic Highway were reported to have been damaged with what appears to be a BB gun.
• Two tires on a 1996 Ford Mustang were reported to have been cut while parked at a business in the 6000 block of 39th Street.
• A cellular telephone was reported stolen while the victim was at a business in the 5000 block of Twin City Highway.
Saturday, July 8
• A purse containing identification, cash, jewelry and checkbook was reported stolen from a vehicle while parked in the 5100 block of E. Parkway Street.
• A 16-foot lowboy trailer was reported stolen from a business in the 1900 block of Main Avenue.
• A person was assaulted while at a home in the 3800 block of Kenneth Avenue.
Friday, July 7
• A 40-year-old woman was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct in the 5000 block of Lincoln Avenue.
• A 2004 Chevrolet truck was reported stolen from a business in the 3700 block of Main Avenue.
Wednesday, July 5
• A wallet was reported stolen from a business in the 6200 block of 39th Street.
• A 29-foot ravel trailer was reported stolen from a business in the 6700 block of Gulfway Drive.
