PORT ARTHUR —     For the second week in a row Mother Nature let it be known she is not the biggest basketball fan in Southeast Texas.

Area basketball coaches started to postpone games Monday in the wake of another winter storm forecast to hit Southeast Texas on Tuesday.

Port Arthur Memorial now must wait at least another day to get its second shot at North Shore. The No. 19 Titans are scheduled to travel to face the No. 8 Mustangs Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tipoff.

Coaches from both teams will talk at 10 a.m. Wednesday to make sure roads are safe to travel.

The same goes for the Lady Titans who were all set to host the No. 5 North Shore Lady Mustangs on Tuesday.

The Lady Titans and Lady Mustangs hope to face off at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Gym.

No. 21 Nederland, who played a rescheduled game Monday night, moved its Tuesday game at LC-M to 7:30 p.m. Thursday. The Lady Bulldogs hosts the Lady Bears at 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

Port Neches-Groves and the No. 12 Central Jaguars will try to play their Tuesday game at 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Lumberton and Vidor play at 7:30 p.m. Thursday while No. 18 West Brook and Deer Park are now scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
