PORT ARTHUR —
Curtis Ray Marsh, Sr., 56 of Port Arthur, Texas ended his earthly life on November 21, 2012 at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. He was born to the union of Milton and Addie Marsh on June 18, 1956 in Port Arthur, Texas
He was a 1974 graduate of Abraham Lincoln Senior High School; he held several career positions, most recently retiring from Jefferson County, assigned to Southeast Texas Regional Airport as supervisor of maintenance. He was known for his great love of family, animals (horses) and outdoor life.
Curtis Ray Marsh was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Addie Marsh, brothers, Tyrrell Marsh and Robert Marsh and mother-in-law, Shirley Martin. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Cynthia Marsh; two daughters, Tanda R. Guidry (Zeffrem) of Port Arthur, TX; and Shirley Marsh of Dallas, TX; one son, Curtis Marsh Jr. (Darling) of Port Arthur, TX; five sisters, Florida Marsh, Geraldine Henderson of Mansfield, LA, Ruby Marsh, Addie Marie Marsh, Denetryl Marsh all of Port Arthur; five brothers, Royal Milton Marsh (Angel), Thomas Marsh (Glenda), Donald Marsh, Delaney Marsh, (Samantha) Todlon Marsh all of Port Arthur, TX, father-in-law, Charles Martin, Sr.; brother-in -law, Mark W. Martin (Sandra) sister-in-law, Mary Bill (Gerald); five grandchildren, Ayonna Marsh, Zeffrem Guidry, Jr., Zaveon Guidry, Zion Guidry and Elijah Marsh; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Gabriel Funeral Home with a viewing from 8 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
