Mrs. Florence Collins Landrio

PORT ARTHUR —    Florence was born December 26, 1913 to the parents of Sydney Broussard and Delphine Broussard Collins in Grand Coteau, Lousiana. She married Vaniel Landrio on February 6, 1937 in St. Charles Catholic Church, Grand Coteau, Louisiana.

   Through their union in marriage they had three children, Vaniel Landrio Jr, Audry Landrio Antoine and Betty Landrio Henley. In 1949, the family moved to Port Arthur Texas. On March 6th of that year, they built a house at 1026 West 6th Street where they lived for over 50 years.

    Florence was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. In recent years, she moved her church membership to St. James Catholic Church with her family.

   Vaniel Sr. and Florence were married for 56 years when he passed away. Vaniel always predicted Florence would live a long life before she passed. She loved prayer, life, family, friends and the latest fashions.

   She is survived by her son, Vaniel Landrio, Jr (Marie) Vallejo, California, daughter, Audry Antoine, Port Arthur, TX, Grandchildren, Leroy Antoine, Jr, Port Arthur, TX, Timothy Antoine ( Winda) Missouri City, TX.

Grandchildren: Marc Antoine, Lauren Antoine, Aaron Antoine, Adrian Antoine, Taylor Henley, Christian Henley and S. Jerai Bernard, Saige Clark. She was proceeded in death by Vaniel Landrio Sr., Betty Landrio Henley and Vaniel Landrio III.

   Visitation (10:00 A.M.) and Funeral Services (11:00 A.M.) will be held  Saturday, March 2, 2013 at St. James Church,  3617 Gulfway Drive, Port Arthur, Texas.
