Terri Jean Capello Blanchard, 55, of Humble, formerly of Port Arthur, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family. Terri was born September 2, 1957, in Port Arthur to Daniel and June Marie Bryan Capello.
Terri is described by her family as a devoted mother, proud grandmother and a kind person.
She enjoyed reading all types of books, loved making jewelry and watched all types of movies. Terri’s pride and joy in life were her grandchildren.
She was greatly involved in their daily lives and was their biggest advocate. She will be greatly missed by many.
Terri is preceded in death by her mother, June Marie Bryan Capello.
Terri is survived by her father, Daniel Capello, her daughter, Leslie Blanchard Duerr and her husband Timothy of Humble; brothers, John K. Capello and his wife Paula of New Braunfels; Anthony Scott Capello of Connecticut; Daniel Cory Capello and his wife Michelle of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters, Vicki Elaine Lancaster of Houston; Erin Kay Hollis of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Tristan Aubrey Dyches, Seth Gavin Duerr and Arianna Isabella Duerr.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m., Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
