PORT ARTHUR —
Carol Dean Marshall, 85, of Port Arthur went to be with the Lord, Monday, January 28, 2013. She was born June 7, 1927 in Stockbridge, Georgia to George and Leona Chapman.
Carol loved her flowers, football, Nascar Racing, old T.V. programs, antique cars and her 4-legged daughter, Roxie.
Carol was a member of the VFW Ladies Aux. Post # 9969 of Del City, Oklahoma, also a former member of Golden Triangle S.E. TX., Region Antique Automobile Club of America.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Charles Marshall of Port Arthur, Texas; one sister, Nancy Allan of Live Oak, Florida; three daughters, Kathy Howard, Becky Trull and Nancy Stalnaker all of Jacksonville, Florida; three sons, Tommy Hogan and Will T. Hogan Jr., of The Villages, Florida and Jimmy Hogan of Olean, New York; two step-daughters, Sherry Green and Charlene Marshall of Lexington, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren and by numerous nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2013 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 3 p.m., at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
