PORT ARTHUR —
Mary J. Fusilier Sinegal, 68, of Port Arthur was called home to the Lord on Friday, May 17, 2013.
She was born on April 19, 1945 in Lafayette Louisiana. Mary, a lifelong resident of Port Arthur, TX, was a 1963 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.
Mary was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Mary Parish where she was an active member of the Knights of Peter Claver Ladies Auxiliary Cartagena Court #32 and the Associate Missionaries of St. Paul.
She leaves to cherish her memory her father, Wallace Fusilier of Maurice, Louisiana; her four loving daughters, Sheori Ross of Fresno, TX, Shanelle McGee of Houston, TX, Anissa Stevens of Houston, TX, and Kaymi Stevens of Kent, WA; one granddaughter, Sharrod Sinegal, one grandson Andre Brown, and one great-grandson, Patrick Deckard all of Fresno, TX; five sisters, Betty Doucet, Hilda Spradley , Linda Paige, and Georgia A. Bazile all of Port Arthur and Annette Fusilier of Maurice, LA; and a host of sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Sinegal; mother Maranda Gordon; and brother Clarence Gordon, Jr.
Celebration of her home going will be Saturday, May 25, 2013. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. with the rosary recited at 9:00 a.m. and the funeral mass at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart-St. Mary Parish, 920 Booker T. Washington, in Port Arthur, TX, with Fr. Charles Atuah officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
