Port Arthur Police calls Dec. 25 through Dec. 31

PORT ARTHUR — Port Arthur Police responded to the following calls from Dec. 25 through Dec. 31



Tuesday, Dec. 25

• A 42-inch LG flat screen TV and a 32-inch LG flat screen TV were stolen from a home at Crystal Creek Apartments, 8127 Honeywood Trail.

• A 32-inch LG flat screen TV, Wii game system and unknown amount of coins from a ceramic rooster bank were stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Fourth Street.

• Telephone harassment was reported in the 4200 block of Philmont Avenue.

• A pair of Nike shoes, Abercrombie brand hoodie, American Eagle brand hoodie and a wallet were stolen from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Alamosa Avenue.

• A person was arrested for assault/family violence in the 700 block of 12th Avenue.

• An iPhone 4S and Blackberry Bold were stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 4500 block of Alamosa Avenue.

• Two boy’s bikes and two Ripstick skateboards were stolen from the 4200 block of Willowbend Lane.



Wednesday, Dec. 26

• Two factory aluminum rims with tires, car jack, jumper cables, assorted hand tools and assorted clothing were stolen from a vehicle in the 4500 block of Memorial Boulevard. The vehicle had broken down and been two days prior.

• A 2004 Honda Rancher 4-wheeler, Profax aluminum welder and assorted tools and welding equipment were stolen from T-Blast Inc., 9878 W. Port Arthur Road.

• Approximately $350 in assorted coins was stolen from a home in the 1300 block of Sabine Avenue.

• State jail felony criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3800 block of 10th Street.

• A Frigidaire window unit and a Radio Shack keyboard were stolen from a home in the 3000 block of Eighth Avenue.

• Approximately 20 bottles of Avon fingernail polish, assorted colors, were stolen from a home in the 3500 block of 37th Street.

• An HP lap top, Samsung Galaxy S2 cell phone and fishing poles were stolen from a home in the 3500 block of Turtle Creek Drive.

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Normandy Apartments, 3600 Normandy Ave.

• A person was arrested for criminal trespass at Walgreens, 4930 Gulfway Drive.

• An iPod 2 was stolen from a home in the 3700 block of Eighth Avenue.

• Assault/family violence was reported in the 6200 block of Willow Avenue.

• A person was arrested for theft at Sears, 3100 FM 365.

• A home was burglarized in the 2400 block of Guzman Drive.

• A person was arrested for possession of marijuana, .14 ounces, in the 1200 block of Seventh Street after a call of a suspicious vehicle.



Thursday, Dec. 27

• Twelve Ritalin pills were reportedly stolen from a medicine cabinet by an employee at the Hebert Adult Center, 2922 Eighth Ave.

• An apartment at Joe Louis Manor, 1300 Joe Louis, was burglarized. Walls had been kicked in and ketchup splattered all over the walls.

• A home in the 900 block of Delaware was burglarized and several items were removed.

• Criminal trespass was reported at JC Penney, 3100 FM 365.

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 2700 block of 11th Street.

• Criminal mischief was reported at Tere’s Restaurant, 4751 Gulfway Drive.

• Assault/family violence was reported in the 3600 block of 10th Street.

• An undetermined amount of laundry products including a clothes basket and detergent soap, estimated value of loss between $50 and $500, was reported at Family Dollar, 6401 W. Port Arthur Road.

• Felony evading/recovery of a stolen vehicle was reported in the 2800 block of Fourth Avenue.

• A person was robbed at gunpoint of his wallet which contained approximately $800 in cash as well as an unknown amount of cash from the register at Fisco No. 2, 2539 Jefferson Drive.

• A person was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 4100 block of FM 365.

• A juvenile was detained for theft of a pair of Allen B pants, Ana pants, JC Penney shirt and pair of JC Penney pants at JC Penney, 3100 FM 365.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

• Between 150 to 200 feet of cable, valued at approximately $1,000, was stolen from Dashiell, 930 S. Business Park.

• A person was arrested for forgery with a financial instrument at Community Bank, 2901 Turtle Creek Drive.

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 4300 block of Tulane Street.

• A person was arrested for aggravated assault/family violence in the 5100 block of Ninth Street.

• Assault/family violence was reported at Jack-in-the-Box, 4001 Twin City Hwy.

• Deadly conduct was reported in the 2200 block of Woodrow Drive after a person discovered a bullet in his kitchen and a bullet hole in the kitchen window.

• Telephone harassment/family violence was reported in the 3900 block of Rachel Avenue.

• A 52-inch Toshiba flat screen TV and HO lap top were stolen from a home in the 4600 block of Fifth Street.

• Terroristic threat was reported in the 3200 block of 24th Street.



Thursday, Dec. 29

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported at Lakeview Palms Apartments, 5200 Gulfway Drive.

• Injury to a child was reported at Lakeview Palms Apartments, 5200 Gulfway Drive, after the mother allegedly disciplined her teen aged child with an electric guitar.

• A person was arrested for forgery of a financial instrument at Chase Bank, 4997 Twin City Hwy.

• A person was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon/family violence at Louis Manor, 1300 Joe Louis Ave.

• Criminal mischief to a vehicle was reported in the 3200 block of Turtle Creek Drive.

• A person was arrested for theft from person/assault/family violence in the 3600 block of 10th Street.

• Police responded to a call of a possible stabbing in the 4500 block of Texas 73. Upon arrival they learned the person took off running down Texas 73. Before officers  cold reach the person, he was struck by a vehicle in the 4900 block of Texas 73. He was transported to Christus Hospital-St. Elizabeth for treatment. His injuries were not life threatening or critical.

• Three flat screen TV’s, three DSI Nintendo games and a blender were stolen from the 1300 block of Sabine Avenue.



Friday, Dec. 30

• Assault/family violence was reported in the 1300 block of 18th Street.

• Aggravated assault/family violence was reported at The Shire apartments, 3960 FM 365.

• Two masked men, one of which was armed with a handgun, robbed Pakco, 3948 Ninth Ave.

• A Husqvarna brand backpack blower was stolen from a home in the 700 block of Duff Drive.



Monday, Dec. 31

• Three males broke into a residence, held a person at gunpoint then robbed and shot him at Stonegate Manor, 4301 Turtle Creek Drive.

• A person was arrested for failure to identify/giving false information at Carver Terrace Apartments, 1400 Dewalt Ave.

• A person was arrested for criminal trespass at Exxpress Mart No. 19, 2920 Jimmy Johnson Blvd.

• A person was arrested for evading detention in the 5100 block of Fifth Street.

• A robbery was reported in the 3100 block of 41st Street.

• A 43-inch Panasonic flat screen TV, valued at $1,200, was stolen from a home in he 3200 block of 34th Street.

• Two 12-inch subwoofers inside a gray speaker box and a Pioneer car CD player were stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Central Mall, 3100 FM 365.

• An unlocked vehicle was burglarized in the 3900 block of Sixth Street and $160 in cash was stolen.
