The cause of an early morning house fire in Port Arthur is under investigation.

The call came in around 2 a.m. Monday and when the first engine arrived, the home, in the 3100 block of 9^th Street, was fully involved, Port Arthur Fire Battalion Chief Jeremy Holland said.

PAFD was on scene until 4:30 a.m.

No injuries were reported.

PAFD also worked fast to extinguish a kitchen fire at a home in the 5100 block of Minnie Avenue Sunday afternoon. That call came in at 2:40 p.m.

There were no injuries reported.
