Port Arthur Police investigating suspicious death
Port Arthur Police Department is investigating a suspicious death that occurred Wednesday.
Officers were called to the 3100 block of 8th Street for shots fired just after 1 p.m. and located the scene nearby in the 700 block of 3rd Avenue, Chief Tim Duriso said.
A female person of interest is in custody and being interviewed by detectives, he said at approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday.
Precinct 2 Justice of the Peace Joseph Guillory II pronounced the man deceased and ordered for an autopsy.
