Four people suffered gunshot wounds in two separate shootings two hours apart in Port Arthur.
Port Arthur police are searching for the two suspects responsible for the two shootings.
Police were called around 11:30 p.m. Sunday to Eclipse lounge in Gulfway Plaza in 1600 block of Jefferson Drive for shots fired.
Inside the business were two men, ages 45 and 51 who had been shot. Port Arthur Police Chief Tim Duriso said the men were Katy and La Feria, Texas.
The men were transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
There were no other injuries reported.
Duriso said they are pulling video and talking to witnesses in the case. No arrests have been made as of Monday afternoon but Duriso does expect to make an arrest.
The plaza has a number of popular businesses and police have been called there in the past but mostly to clear the parking lot, Duriso said.
Police were called at 1:30 a.m. Monday to a shooting at Port Arthur Townhomes, 3500 Turtle Creek Drive.
Two men, ages 20 and 21, were both shot in the leg in an apartment. Both men lived at the complex.
No arrest has been made in the Port Arthur Townhomes shooting.
Duriso said he doesn’t believe the two shootings are related and that neither shooting was random.
