Georick “Bubba Jo” James Rivers, 41, was a native of Port Arthur, TX, where he resident for 20 years and relocated to San Angelo, TX, until he passed away after a lengthy battle with cancer on July 23, 2020.

He was a proud 1997 graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School.

He attended San Angelo State University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories his daughter Leila Whitney Rivers; his mother, Kathleen Rivers-Davis; one sister, Mary (Nikki) Rivers; one brother, Vincent Rivers (Tonesia) and a host of other relatives and friends.

Services to be held at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Public viewing begins at 9 a.m., followed by private funeral service at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
