The definition of Peace: Freedom from disturbance, tranquility, harmony, calm and well-being.

I know everyone desires those definitions of peace, as I do, and thank God for leaving me His peace before He went to be with the Father.

John 14:27 says “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give you. I do not give you like the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Wow, the first time I read that, I marveled, knowing He gave it to me, and, no man or thing can ever take it away.

We, Believers, must stay “stubborn” about this and let that peace from above that He gave us,  guard our hearts and minds!

This is a perfect, positive, way to direct your problem with being stubborn…

“You will keep us in perfect peace, those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, Himself is the Rock eternal.” Isaiah 26:3

In this day, age and, time of “seeming” trouble, it would be a great idea to pray before you start your day for the refreshing, reminder of your peace, He gave you.

It changes daily progress in our homes, jobs, church, errands and communication by social media, and cell phones. There are also some humorous, common ways we use peace:

It’s used as an informal, friendly greeting, some along with 2 fingers up, indicating Peace

An order or suggestion to remain silent – “Peace be still.” Sometimes I take authority (given by God) to calm a destructive storm: hail, hurricanes, tornadoes and flooding, always ending the order with, In Jesus Name.

Leaving family or friends – “Peace out.”

There are so many times we can, as Believers, speak peace instead of fear or anger, and God will honor our “meddling in the spirit” so to speak.

When loved ones are grieving, sirens passing us by on the highways, hospital visits, strife in workplaces or homes, and on and on. I think you can and have your own areas of contact to bless with peace.
