Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I’m going to start and finish with this amazing, powerful Scripture!

“Even to your old age and gray hair, I am He, I am He Who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. Isaiah 46:4

Rescue definition (Webster’s Dictionary): “Being saved or the act of being saved from a dangerous or distressing situation or lifestyle. Freeing, deliverance and relief from confinement, temptation or suffering.”

All through the Bible there are promises of being “rescued” mentioned 129 times from Genesis through the New Testament. I love the one in Isaiah 46:4 and the always familiar, Psalm 91, where, at the end, God says, “Because he loves Me, I will rescue him, I will protect him, for he acknowledges My Name.” Wow, that’s an easy one for me. I’m always talking about God and how Jesus loved and healed and encouraged all, including me, during His travels and miracles.

We can cry out to God for a rescue whenever we need it, especially if we’re His child. Make Him your Heavenly Father and He will hear you and help you, but you must ask Him into your life and WHY NOT, wow, to have God with you, always, is a wonderful, powerful, healing, loving presence.

Sometimes our natural fathers might not be available, for many different reasons or possibly not know how to help us, but God always hears us and if we listen and heed, His Love and direction will guide us on a smooth or smoother path.

I can testify to this: So many times in my life, I was guided while traveling in the U.S. and Europe as missionaries or supporting other ministries. It happened with decisions, even simple things I might be thinking about or planning, organizing and my ordinary days.

Don’t forget the “ordinary days and duties!” They, sometimes, effect everyone around you.

“Even to your old age and gray hair, I am He who will sustain you, I have made you and I will carry you, and rescue you.” Isaiah 46:4

Pray: God, be my Heavenly Father. Forgive me, guide me, fill me with Your Spirit and thank you for listening to me and for rescuing me when I call on You.
