Health officials announce 28 new COVID-19 cases for Mid-County, Port Arthur

The Port Arthur Health Department received confirmation Monday of 14 additional Port Arthur residents who tested positive for coronavirus.

These individuals include nine females, two between 20-25, one each between 25-30; 35-40; 50-55; 55-60; 60-65; 65-70 and 70-75.

The other individuals include five males; two between 35-40; one each between 30-35; 40-45 and 60-65.

This brings the total to 253 Port Arthur residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 since testing started.

The Port Arthur and Jefferson County Health Departments received confirmation of three additional positive COVID-19 cases in residents of Groves.

The individuals include one female between the age range of 15-20, and two males between the age ranges of 20-25 and 30-35.

This brings the total to 54 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the City of Groves since testing began.

Also on Monday, Port Arthur and Jefferson County Health Departments received confirmation of two additional Port Neches residents who tested positive for coronavirus.

The individuals include one female between the age range of 60-65 and one male between 75-80.

This brings the total to 43 Port Neches residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 since testing began.

The City of Nederland received information the number of total positive COVID-19 test results has increased to 74 with nine new positive cases.
