Josie Metoyer Babino, 80, of Port Arthur, TX passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020.

A native of Evergreen, LA she was a resident of Port Arthur for 78 years.

Josie was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.

Before retiring, she worked at Wallace High School in Orange, TX and Port Arthur Independent School District.

She was also a businesswoman in Port Arthur, where she operated a liquor store on Houston Avenue.

Josie is survived by two sisters, Dr. Evelyn Metoyer-Williams of Los Angeles, CA and Linda Faye Simmons of Houston, TX; two sons, Chad Babino and Todd Goudeaux, Sr. (Sonia) of Port Arthur, TX; three grandchildren; Ashley, Betty and Todd Goudeaux, Jr. all of Port Arthur, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel with visitation from 9 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery.
