Eugene Horace Foreman II, 61, of Groves passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at his home.

Eugene was born on October 9, 1958 in Port Arthur, Texas to parents Jennie Lee (Dartez) and Eugene Horace Foreman.

He was a lifelong resident of Groves and he was of the Catholic Faith.

He was an insulation installer for many years with National Asbestos Workers Union.

Eugene enjoyed going hunting and fishing.

He also enjoyed doing taxidermy of some the animals he killed.

Eugene was a loving man who will be missed dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon Foreman.

Eugene is survived by his wife, Amy Foreman of Groves, daughter, Dana Lankston and husband, Aaron of Bay City, his sister, Pam Barnette and husband, Tony of Groves, nephew, Patrick Pittman, nieces, Sasha Acquillar (Joel), Laura Dahlman (Lewis) and Gracie Broll.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Makensie and Abigail, great nieces, Hannah, Stella and Madison and great nephew, Logan.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home.

An 11 o’clock Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Immaculate Conception-St. Peter Catholic Church is Groves, celebrant will be Rev. J. C. Coon. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Groves.

Due to the COVID-19, face masks are required at the Funeral Home and at the Church by mandate from Jefferson County.
