Parents and guardians may apply at any time during the school year.

A child with a parent or guardian who becomes unemployed may become eligible for free and reduced-price meals if the household income drops below the income limit.

Those who received a notification letter that a child is directly certified for free or reduced-price meals should not complete an application. If a child was approved last year, that application is good only for that school year and the first few days of this school year.

To receive an application for free or reduced-price meals, contact Melissa Nunnelly at 409-729-7644, ext. 329, or email mnunnelly@pngisd.org. All applications should be returned to Melissa Nunnelly, 1401 Merriman, Port Neches, TX 77651.
