Port Arthur water utility customers who need to pay delinquent bills are facing the end of a “no cut-off” policy to take effect at 8 a.m. on July 6.

These customers may make payment at the city’s water utilities office starting July 1. Two customers at a time will be allowed to go into the city’s Annex Building to handle all billing and collections matters.

Public access to city hall, however, will remain limited.

Administrators encourage customers to call or come in to discuss any delinquency issues as soon as possible. To make arrangements for paying outstanding balances, contact the Billing and Collections Division at 409-983-8230.
