Weather Service: Winds of 60 mph, hail & lightning coming this week

Port Arthur and Mid-County residents can expect wet weather over the four days.

According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms would be scattered each day.

Warning Coordination Meteorologist Roger Erickson said some of these storms would be capable of damaging winds of 60 mph, hail and lightning.

“Rainfall of 1-2 inches is possible in a short period of time, which could produce temporary street flooding,” Erickson said.
