Every local city was touched by a jump Monday in confirmed COVID-19 cases in Port Arthur and Mid-County.

The biggest hit came in Port Arthur, where the city’s Health Department received confirmation of 11 additional Port Arthur residents who tested positive for Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

These individuals include five females between the age ranges of 0-5; 25-30; 30-35; and two between 35-40.

The other individuals are six males.

One between the age ranges of 15-20; 35-40; 40-45; two between the age ranges of 55-60; and 75-80.

This brings the total to 130 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the City of Port Arthur.

The City of Port Arthur and Jefferson County Health Departments received confirmation of three additional Port Neches residents who tested positive for coronavirus disease.

The individuals are males between the age ranges 25-30; 35-40; and 80-85.

This brings the total to 17 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the City of Port Neches.

Port Arthur and Jefferson County’s health departments also confirmed of one additional positive COVID-19 case in a resident of Groves. This individual is a male between the age range of 65-70.

This brings the total to 25 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 for the City of Groves.

Local health departments received confirmation of three additional Nederland residents who tested positive for COVID-19.

The individuals include one female between the age range of 30-35; and two males, between the age ranges of 0-5; and 55-60.

This brings the total to 31 individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 in the City of Nederland.

For confidentiality purposes, the health departments are not releasing any additional information to identify these individuals.
