Chris Stroud, Andrew Landry stumble down RBC Heritage leaderboard in final round

Rain delayed the final round of the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, but when action resumed, neither Chris Stroud nor Andrew Landry could find their groove.
Both golfers, who grew up in Groves, shot even-par 71 and took big tumbles down the leaderboard after starting the day in contention. Stroud slipped 20 spots to a 28th-place tie and turned in a 271, which was nine strokes behind winner Webb Simpson.
Landry tied with seven others for a 33rd-place tie at 272.
Stroud struggled to capitalize on a season-low 63 and, on Sunday, bogeyed four times on the back nine holes after sinking birdies on the par-5 second, par-5 fifth and par-4 third. He shot 68-69-63-71.
A double bogey on the par-3 14th sent Landry from 1-under to 1-over for the final round, but he went back even with a birdie on the par-4 16th. Landry also double bogeyed a par-4 third after birdieing the par-5 second.
Landry went 68-67-66-71.
Simpson shot 64 in the final round and held off Abraham Ancer by one for the win. Daniel Berger and Tyrrell Hatton tied for third at 264.
