Jefferson County grand jury indictments for week of June 10

BEAUMONT — A Jefferson County grand jury indicted the following individuals this week:

  • Lachrisha Renae Abshire, 33, transient, was indicted for murder for a May 13 incident.
  • Amesty Haley Smith, 23, of Port Arthur was indicted for murder for an incident that occurred Oct. 12.
  • Keri Colleen Beck, also known as Keri Colleen Kuntz, 48, of Nederland was indicted for fraudulent use of identifying information for an incident that occurred Jan. 19.
  • Joshua Ray Bergeron, 39, of Nederland was indicted for fraudulent use of identifying information for an incident that occurred Jan. 19.
  • Javeon Javon Blount, 19, of Pot Arthur was indicted for possession of marijuana for an incident that occurred March 10, 2019.
  • Jairus Lynn Botley, also known as Jairus Lenny Botley and Jairus Botley, 31, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred April 5, 2019.
  • Justin Demichael Cuthbert, 19, of Port Arthur was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident that occurred Feb. 9.

  • Leon Demond Davis, 38, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Dec. 8.
  • Leon Demond Davis, 38, of Port Arthur was indicted tampering with physical evidence for an incident that occurred Dec. 8.
  • Devon Andre Martin, 32, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Sept. 19.
  • David Timothy Miles, 68, of Port Arthur was indicted for unlawful carrying weapon n licensed premises for an incident that occurred Feb. 20.
  • Ryan Lowell Rogers, 26, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident that occurred Feb. 12.
  • John Earl Royal, 38, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred Feb. 23.
  • Sydni Selman, 23, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 1.
  • Tony Paul Thomas, 28, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine, or PCP, for an incident that occurred Aug. 30.
  • Darlene Louise Williams, 53, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 3.
  • Sydni Aluze Selman, 23, of Port Arthur was indicted for theft of service for an incident that occurred Dec. 3.
  • Maurice Sharif Smith, 37, of Fresno, was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Dec. 5.
  • Leann Mitchell, 28, of Lumberton was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident that occurred Nov. 16.
  • Jakerric Davon Narcisse, 22, of Port Arthur was indicted for aggravated assault for an incident that occurred March 23.
  • Larry Fitzgerald Williams, 19, of Beaumont was indicted for arson, habitation or building or vehicle, for an incident that occurred April 13.
  • Cassie Lanelle Arnold, 31, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Oct. 31.
  • Tina M. Celestine, also known as Tina Marie Celestine, 39, of Beaumont was indicted for fraudulent use of identifying information for an incident that occurred March 2.
  • Otis L. Crawford-Wilson, 30, of Beaumont was indicted for felony escape for an incident that occurred April 7.
  • Vincent Edward Gonzales, 54, of Liberty was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 10.
  • Darrell Gerard Jordan, 22, of Beaumont was indicted for unlawful possession of firearm by felon for an incident that occurred Feb. 15.
  • Anthony B. Keil, also known as Anthony Belafonte Keil and James Keah Hebert, 53, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Oct. 5.
  • Toryne E`Shon Mitchell, 27, of Port Arthur was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Jan. 31.

 An indictment is not a final conviction of guilt; it is only a ruling by the grand jury that allows the district attorney’s office to proceed with a criminal case.
