BEAUMONT — A Jefferson County grand jury indicted the following individuals this week:

  • Zachary Kapel, 33, of Beaumont was indicted for murder for an incident that occurred April 26.
  • L.T. Savoy, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred March 21, 2018.
  • L.T. Savoy, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred March 27, 2019.
  • L.T. Savoy, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred March 27, 2018.
  • L.T. Savoy, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred April 3, 2019.
  • L.T. Savoy, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred April 10, 2019.
  • L.T. Savoy, 35, of Beaumont was indicted for delivery of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred April 11, 2018.
  • Christopher C. Smith, also known as Christopher Craig Smith and Shown Luttrell, 40, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 1.
  • Glen Patrick Klima, 53, of Port Arthur was indicted for evading arrest/detention use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred July 8, 2019.

  • Driskia Yvonne Konadu, 43, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine, or PCP, for an incident that occurred April 5, 2019.
  • Jorge Martinez, 30, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Sept. 6, 2019.
  • Carolyn Antoinette Jones, 59, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred Oct. 30, 2019.
  • David McElroy, also known as David Leonard McElroy and David Lenard McElroy, 41, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine, or PCP, for an incident that occurred Jan. 11, 2019.
  • Sirjimmie Woods, 40, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Dec. 1, 2019.
  • Leroy Antrise Washington, also known as Leroy Washington, Leroy Antrice Washington and Poppa, 40, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred June 30, 2019.
  • Maria Leticia Berra, 34, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Dec. 5, 2019.
  • Naishia Lucas, 19, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred Aug. 3, 2019.
  • Khristie Tanisha Rena Carrier, 26, of Beaumont was indicted for felony theft with prior theft convictions for an incident that occurred April 8, 2019.
  • Joshua Dancurtis Franklin, 32, of Port Arthur as indicted for possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine, or PCP, for an incident that occurred Nov. 2, 2019.
  • Keto Denard Means, also known as Keto D. Means, 43, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 5, 2019.
  • Michael James Milson Jr., 34, of Port Arthur was indicted for retaliation for an incident that occurred Oct. 9, 2019.
  • Schedrick Renard Mitchell, 36, of Beaumont was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, phencyclidine, or PCP, for an incident that occurred Nov. 26, 2019.
  • Raymond Joseph Morris, also known as Crazy Man Morrissss and Raymond Morris, 53, of Beaumont was indicted for felony driving while intoxicated for an incident that occurred June 16, 2019.
  • Esdaras Homero Pedroza, 26, of Port Arthur was indicted for unlawful carrying weapon on licensed premises for an incident that occurred Feb. 5.
  • Victoria Alicia Ramirez, 36, of Nederland was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 9.
  • Lacey Iline Rhymes, 32, of Kountze was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, for an incident that occurred Nov. 2.
  • Ricky Gene Braquet, 56, of Port Neches was indicted for assault-family violence/choking for an incident that occurred March 6.
  • Blake Jerome Richey, also known as Blake Jarome Richey, 29, of Nederland was indicted for unauthorized use of a vehicle for an incident that occurred April 22.
  • Bryan T. Richard, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred May 8.
  • Herman Joseph Orphey, 17, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Dec. 4.
  • Howard Lee Mitchell, 46, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred May 6.
  • Ashley Nicole Merrill, 31, of Port Arthur was indicted for assault on a peace officer for an incident that occurred Feb. 26.
  • Jerrel Marshall, 22, of Beaumont was indicted for aggravated robbery for an incident that occurred Feb. 16.

  • Bryan Keith Johnson, 21, of Port Arthur was indicted for possession of a controlled substance, cocaine, for an incident that occurred March 10, 2019.
  • Elijah Jakquel Guillory, 18, of Beaumont was indicted for burglary of a habitation for an incident that occurred Nov. 5.
  • Philip Terrell Grant, also known as Popa, Phillip Grant and Phillip Terrell Grant, 33, of Beaumont was indicted for tampering with physical evidence for an incident that occurred Jan. 30.
  • Aurora Isabel Covarrubias, 53, of Beaumont was indicted for interfere with child custody for an incident that occurred Dec. 19.
  • Calvin Van Bolds, also known as Calvin Van Bolds Jr., 37, of Beaumont was indicted for tampering with physical evidence for an incident that occurred July 5.

An indictment is not a final conviction of guilt; it is only a ruling by the grand jury that allows the district attorney’s office to proceed with a criminal case.
