Groves Police Department officers made the following arrests and responded to the following calls May 20-26.

May 20

• A criminal trespass warning was issued in the 6100 block of Gulfway Drive.

May 21

• Shane Fontenot, 42, was arrested on outside agency warrants in the 5500 block of Washington.
• Burglary of a building was reported in the 6200 block of Jefferson.

May 22

• Kevin Fischer, 41, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• Melissa Goodeaux Bienvenue, 39, was arrested for outside agency warrants in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• A criminal trespass warning was issued in the 3900 block of Pure Atlantic Road.
• Theft of a firearm was reported in the 3200 block of Cherry.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 4500 block of Lawndale.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.
• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

May 23

• An auto burglary was reported in the 3200 block of High Avenue.
• An auto burglary was reported in the 5200 block of 32^nd Street.
• A report for information was completed in the 6300 block of Taylor.
• A report for assault was completed in the 6400 block of Plaza.
• Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon was reported, and a criminal trespass warning was issued in the 4700 block of Main.

May 24

• Casey Hagen, 29, was arrested for driving while intoxicated/open container and unlawfully carrying a weapon in the 5200 block of East Parkway.
• A welfare concern was reported in the 2300 block of Texas 73.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5700 block of Monroe.
• An assault was reported in the 5300 block of Gulfway Drive.

May 26

• Michael Sells, 41, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon in the 2600 block of 25th Street.
• A report for unlawful use of a criminal instrument was completed in the 4500 block of Twin City Highway.
• Criminal mischief was reported in the 5100 block of East Parkway.
• A report for assault was completed in the 6100 block of Howe.
