Wilbert Smith was born in Lena, LA on March 10, 1930 and departed this life on May 22, 2020.

He was a resident of Port Arthur, TX for over 68 years.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Emma Ruth Bobino Smith and one son, Gregory Wayne Smith.

Wilbert is survived by his children, Byron Smith (Christine), Trent Smith (Kimberly) and Andreae Joy Smith (Shawn); two siblings; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Friday, May 29, 2020 at Gabriel Funeral Home Chapel, 2500 Procter Street, Port Arthur, TX with visitation from 11 a.m. until service time.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
