The Nederland Independent School District has selected May 29 as the date for its graduation ceremony.

The ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. at Ford Park Amphitheater.

In accordance with the latest Texas Education Agency guidelines, the Nederland ISD secured an outdoor location to host the ceremony, as indoor events are not permitted.

Detailed graduation information will be posted as soon as possible, school officials said Wednesday.

“We appreciate your patience as we navigate this so we can create the safest and best ceremony for our seniors,” the district said in its announcement.
