Nederland Police arrested the following individuals from April 27 to May 3:

  • Warren Fontenot, 29, warrant other agency
  • Michael Ashmun, 27, assault public servant
  • Darren Hussey, 36, public intoxication

Nederland Police responded to the following calls from April 27 to May 3:

April 27

  • Assault offensive touch — family violence was reported in the 1300 block of South 36th Street.
  • Theft was reported in the 1200 block of North Memorial Highway.
  • Assault offensive touch — family violence was reported in the 400 block of North 23rd Street.

April 28

  • Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 3600 block of Nederland Avenue.
  • A person was arrested on another agency’s warrant in the 2300 block of Avenue H.
  • A person was arrested for assault against a public servant in the 1500 block of South 27th Street.

April 29

  • Credit card or debit card abuse was reported in the 2600 block of Nederland Avenue.
  • Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of Avenue D.
  • A dog bite was reported in the 2500 block of Avenue E.
  • Burglary of a vehicle was reported in the 2200 block of Avenue D.
  • Unlawful electronic transmission of sexually explicit visual material was reported in the 700 block of South 13th Street.
  • A person was arrested for public intoxication in the 2600 block of Avenue H.

April 30

  • An information report was made in the 200 block of Boston.
  • An information report was made in the 1600 block of South 37th Street.
  • Terroristic threat was reported in the 800 block of Detroit.
  • Assault by threat – family violence was reported in the 3200 block of West Boston.
  • Terroristic threat was reported in the 3100 block of West Boston.

May 1

  • Theft was reported in the 3600 block of FM 365.

May 2

  • Assault family violence-impede breathing / circulation was reported in the 3200 block of Avenue C.
  • Assault causes bodily injury-family violence was reported in the 1200 block of Avenue A.
  • Theft of a firearm was reported in the 1300 block of South 36th Street.
  • Assault causes bodily injury-family violence and criminal mischief was reported in the 1800 block of Helena.

May 3

  • Assault offensive touch – family violence was reported in the 300 block of South 17th Street.
  • An information report was made in the 2100 block of Avenue B.
