COVID-19 cases largely flat since end of week

More than 70 cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Port Arthur and Mid-County residents, health officials announced, up 1 from two days ago.
A daily update Saturday evening indicated 46 Port Arthur residents had tested positive for coronavirus, with 14 Nederland residents also testing positive.
Groves has seven positive cases, while Port Neches is reporting six cases.
The Southeast Texas Regional Emergency Operations Center said area public health departments report the numbers for COVID-19 positive test results.
If you would like to be tested for COVID-19, call 409-550-2536 for an appointment. After testing, you will be required to self-isolate until test results have been returned.
The Call Center is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Testing is free for everyone.
