Robert E. Quisenberry, 92, of Port Arthur, TX, passed away April 23rd, 2020.
He was born on November 30, 1927 in Kansas to Benson F. Quisenberry and Mary Agnes Cunningham.
He was raised in Kansas and Missouri before joining the Army and serving as an MP in Korea.
After his service, he moved to Port Arthur, TX to start his career as a chemical engineer for the Texaco refinery.
It was there that he met the love of his life, Georgia, and was married for 50 years.
He retired from Texaco in 1987 after 30 years of service.
Robert loved to fish and golf, but his greatest passion was just spending time with family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Georgia Matulik Quisenberry, brothers, Benson and George Quisenberry, sisters, Angela Wollard and Virginia Peters.
He is survived by his son Charles R. Quisenberry, daughter, Laurel Amy, granddaughter, Taylor Amy, great grandchildren, Gage Whitten and Harlow Whitten all of Port Arthur, TX.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 pm Sunday April 26, 2020 at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home.
A private family graveside service will be held on Monday at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
