A would-be burglar was shot during a home invasion in the Griffing Park area, but neither the homeowner nor the burglar is cooperating with police.

The shooting took place at approximately 9:54 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 2000 block of Rosedale Drive, where an assailant entered a home uninvited, was shot by the homeowner and received a minor, non-life threatening wound.

PAPD Acting Deputy Chief of the Criminal Investigation Division Reid Rowe said officers talked to all parties involved and none wanted to file charges.
