Delores Washington, 88, entered into everlasting life on Saturday, April 18, 2020 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur Texas.

Delores was born March 4, 1932 in Moreauville, Louisiana to the union to Rev. Isaiah Washington and Ada Ford Washington.

Delores was a 1953 graduate of Lincoln High School.

She attended Prairie View A&M University receiving a Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in Sociology.

She is survived by four Daughters, DiAnna Broussard, Debra Gabriel, Denise Willis (John), Deanna Washington; one son, Djuan Garrett (Lana); one sister, Mercy Cook; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one brother-in-law, Elmo Chaison, and a host of nieces and friends.

Celebration of life will be held Friday, April 24, 2020, 11:00 am at Live Oak Cemetery.

Burial will follow under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home, Inc.
