James “Jim” Boudreaux Jr.

James “Jim” Boudreaux Jr., a loving husband, father, “Pappy,” and friend, passed away April 18, 2020 at the age of 59.

Jim was born on October 7, 1960 in Kilgore, Texas, to James Andrew Boudreaux Sr. and Bettie Holcomb Boudreaux.

He attended PNG High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1979.

On March 31, 1984, he married Mary Kay Boudreaux (Briggs), his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 36 years.

Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working in his yard, being in a boat on the water, and sitting in a duck blind.

He worked at CHRISTUS St. Elizabeth Hospital for 31 years.

Jim attended church at St. Charles Catholic Church and Infant Jesus Catholic Church.

Jim was known for his love of Christ and dedication to the ACTS community, his infectious humor and personality, and compassionate spirit.

He is survived by his father, James “Jimmy” Boudreaux, Sr. of Groves; wife, Mary Kay Boudreaux of Nederland; son, Cameron Boudreaux and wife Christy of Lumberton; daughter, Corynn Stokes and husband, Jason of Lumberton; grandchildren, Corbin Boudreaux and Caitlyn Boudreaux, and a host of relative and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bettie Boudreaux.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
