Port Arthur man stabbed “several times” during altercation Wednesday night
A Port Arthur man has been hospitalized following a Wednesday night stabbing, authorities said.
Det. Mike Hebert said, in a press release, the altercation took place at approximately 9 p.m. in the 2100 block of Birch Street.
According to police, the suspect, a Hispanic male who knew the victim, approached during a verbal altercation and stabbed him “several times in the upper portion of his body” before fleeing the scene on foot.
Herbert said the suspect is at large, and the PAPD Criminal Investigations Division is leading the case.
