Port Arthur Independent School District is increasing social distancing opportunities to reach parents, students and the local community.
The school district launched a help desk last week to answer questions regarding students in grades 10-12 at Memorial High School.
Memorial secretary Marilyn Kennerson, along with administrators, has been successfully answering questions and concerns from parents and students.
The help desk is open until Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. A decision will be made whether to extend the helpline into next week.
To call, dial 409-984-4000 ext. 1.
