NEDERLAND — Hot tempers led authorities to a chilly call early Tuesday morning in Nederland.

Police responded to an altercation with a possible assault at 5:49 a.m. on Parkway Drive after a man put some ice cream in the refrigerator instead of the freezer, Chief Gary Porter said.

No arrests were made, and there were no injuries reported.

No other details were available.

The incident remains under investigation.
