PAPD UPDATE: Gunman robs bakery customer Tuesday morning on Gulfway Drive

Police in Port Arthur are looking for a man who robbed another man at gunpoint in the parking lot of Ana’s Mexican Bakery on Tuesday morning.
Officers were dispatched to the bakery in the 3400 block of Gulfway Drive at 9:12 a.m. and learned the gunman, described only as a male of unknown race with light skin, approached a customer with a handgun and demanded money.
The robber then fled the area in a vehicle.
The victim was not injured but was in fear of his life, according to a press release from the Port Arthur Police Department.
Det. Sadie Guedry said police do not know if there is more than one suspect but detectives are actively working the case.
PAPD’s Criminal Investigation Division is handling the case.
