Emma J. Ramos, 88, of Groves passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2020, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves, Texas.

Jean was born on January 8, 1932, in Port Arthur, Texas to Lena Galbreath Wyatt and Joseph Wyatt.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family dearly.

Emma was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Sienna Catholic Church in Port Arthur and also attended St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland.

Survivors include her children, Joseph Tremont and his wife Debbie of Douglass, Texas, Michael Tremont of Lake Charles LA, Timothy Tremont and his wife Cindy of Orange, Texas and Sharon McCorkle of Lake Charles, Louisiana; sister-in-law, JoAnn Tremont of Port Arthur, ten grandchildren, Jim McGurr, Joseph McGurr, Amanda McCorkle, Jodi Kuehn, Joshua Tremont, Mandy Tremont, Matthew Tremont, Michaela Tremont and Patrick Tremont; seventeen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, Paul Tremont and Raphael Ramos; children, Janice Leibson, Louisiana and Patrick Tremont, Kanas.

A private family visitation will take place at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home in Port Arthur with a graveside service to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak the family and funeral home ask that her friends and other family members respect their wishes for a private ceremony for their safety as well as yours during this crisis.
