Nederland driver’s truck flips several times on FM 366, comes to rest on roof

A local woman was sent to the hospital this afternoon after her truck skidded and rolled over several times on FM 366 near Twin City Highway, authorities said.
At approximately 1:15p.m. Wednesday, DPS Troopers responded to thea single-vehicle crash.
The preliminary DPS crash investigation indicates a Dodge pickup truck was traveling northbound on FM 366.
For an unknown reason, the driver lost control of the vehicle and went into a skid.
The vehicle rolled over several times before coming to rest on its roof.
The driver, 64-year-old Brenda Morgan of Nederland, was taken to St. Elizabeth hospital with serious injuries.
The passengers, Ann Hebert, 56, and a minor child were not injured.
Sgt. Stephanie Davis said Troopers are working to determine the exact factors that contributed to the crash.
