Larry (Bones) Brooks, 64, of Port Arthur, Texas departed this life on February 15, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont, Texas.

Larry worked for PAISD at Tyrell Elementary as custodian.

He was well loved by staff and children.

Larry was preceded in death by his mother Eliza Brooks, his sister Viney Johnson and brother Charles Brooks.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Nikki Nicole Brooks and mother in law Ora Mae Daniels, father in law T. C. Mathis, 4 sisters Matilda Mayfield, Patricia Gilliam, Everlena Johnson and Angeline Williams (Ennis), 1 brother Edward C. Brooks (Patsy), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Moody Harris Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Glen Kemper Officiating, burial in Calvary Cemetery.
