Larry Lee of Nederland is the latest to record at hole in one at Babe Zaharias. Lee scored his first-ever ace Saturday, Feb. 22, from 110-yards on the 15th hole. His club of choice was a 9-iron.

A triple bogey on his 12th hole sabotaged PNG ex Braden Bailey’s bid to qualify for this week’s PGA Tour Honda Classic. Bailey, trying to earn one of four open spots in a Monday qualifier at Banyon Cay Resort and Club in South Florida, had made the turn in three-under-par 33.

He was derailed by the triple bogey, later made a double bogey on a par 5 and settled for a one-over-par 73. Bailey is working at Astro owner Jim Crane’s Floridian National to prepare for a Canadian PGA Tour qualifier the last week in March at the Wigwam Gold Course in Litchfield Park, Arizona…
