The Port Neches-Groves Rotary Club held their annual shrimp gumbo sale at Groves Middle School on Tuesday.
Proceeds from the sale help fund Rotary Club scholarships and area music programs. Some of those programs provided entertainment.
The choirs from Port Neches Elementary, Port Neches Middle and Groves Middle sang while locals enjoyed their gumbo.
Julie Sanders, Rotary president-elect, said during setup that the annual sale usually serves about 600 people. Junior Rotarians from Port Neches-Groves High School, Lexus Wilkerson, Stephanie Barron, Kristen Crippen and Jake Plante also helped out Tuesday night.
Desserts made by residents of Groves and Port Neches senior citizen centers were also available.
