NEDERLAND — The Nederland Heritage Festival is a month away, meaning the fun and festivities are almost here.
To help ramp up excitement, Tuesday morning’s February Networking Coffee was hosted at the Heritage Festival Pavilion in Nederland.
The event celebrated Scott Nutt of Butchers Korner, who was recognized as Mr. Nederland.
The Festival runs from March 10-15 in Nederland and includes numerous pre-activities. A fun run is planned March 1, and a golf tournament tees off March 7.
A ribbon cutting is planned March 7 on the recently surfaced festival food booth grounds.
Organizers said there are still weeklong festival-ride passports available, which are always a big hit with children.
