Faith Rose Martin

Faith Rose Martin, 88, of Beauxart Gardens, died Monday, February 3, 2020.

She was born on May 14, 1931, in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Faith was a charter member of the First Church of God of Port Arthur, Texas, where she held numerous positions.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who enjoyed cooking and serving others.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Martin, her four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her daughters, Mary Faith Anger and husband Dennis, of Roanoke, TX; Janice Dowden and husband Darell, of Lumberton; and Kathy Richardson of Nederland; sons, John Martin and wife, Glenda, of Orange; and Jack Martin of Harker Heights.

Grandsons, Darren Anger, Jeremy Martin, Cory Haynes, Cody Dowden, Jacob Martin, Blaine Crocker and Will Richardson; granddaughters, Deanna Akin and Mandy Arceneaux; and great grandchildren, John Blake and Faith Haynes, Brice and James Martin, Mason, Natalie, and Maddox Martin, Makenna and Cadence Anger; Owen, Evan and Alex Akin; and Jonah and Jenna Arceneaux.

A gathering of her family and friends will be at 10:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 8. 2020, at First Church of God, 3800 Jimmy Johnson Boulevard, Port Arthur.
