Linda Jean Franklin departed this life Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at her home.

She was a native of New Orleans, LA and resided in Port Arthur, TX for 14 years.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Shilo Baptist Church with Rev. Samuel Joseph Sr., officiating.

Those cherishing her memories are her son, Terance Franklin (Adonica) of Houston, TX; one daughter, Arlisia Phillips of Port Arthur, TX; two grandchildren, Harlem Franklin and Allie’Rae Lewis; one brother, Gregory Franklin (Gracie) of Baton Rouge, LA; one sister, Vera Franklin-England (Jubel, Sr.) of New Orleans, LA; one aunt, Bessie Mae Brown of Port Arthur, TX; one uncle, Marlin Franklin of New Orleans, LA; best friend, Rose Welch of Port Arthur, TX; and a host of other relatives and friends.
