Pizza-delivery man robbed in PA; police say assailant injured when victim sought property back

Two men suspected of robbing a pizza-delivery employee overnight were located, authorities said, one injured when the victim sought back his stolen property.

According to Matt Bulls with the Port Arthur Police Department, officers were dispatched to a robbery at Texas Avenue and W. 14th Street at 12:01 a.m. Sunday.

There, officers were told two males robbed a pizza-delivery employee of property in the 500 block of W. 13th Street.

During the investigation, officers learned the pizza-delivery man caught up with the assailants in attempt to re-obtain his property.

Bulls said during the altercation one of the suspects was injured while attempting to flee.

“Two suspects were located, one of which was transported to the hospital,” Bulls said.

Police did not immediately release suspect names or arrest information.
