Police are investigating a Tuesday afternoon stabbing in Port Arthur, but little is known about the suspect, according to authorities.

“We have no suspect information at this time,” Port Arthur Police Det. Sadie Guedry said in a release.

Officers were dispatched to Prince Hall Apartments, located at 914 W. 14th St., following a stabbing report at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday.

Upon arrival, officers were advised the victim left on foot in an unknown direction.

After a brief search of the complex, Guedry said the victim was located and taken to a local hospital with “non-life-threatening injuries.”
