Cecil Allen Thomas, 66, of Port Arthur, Texas passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019, in Beaumont, Texas.

He was born on December 3, 1952 to the late Archie and Annie Thomas in Port Arthur, Texas.

Cecil was a member of the Apostolic Academy in Nederland, Texas.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019 from 8:00 AM –10:00 AM with services beginning at 10:00 AM at Gabriel Funeral Home, 2500 Procter St, Port Arthur, Texas with Gary Armagh officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home with Military Honors.

Cecil was a 1971 graduate of Port Arthur Lincoln High School and served in the U. S. Navy. Places of employment included Texaco Refinery, BFI, and the Port Arthur News until his early retirement.

Cecil was preceded in death by his parents Archie and Annie Thomas; brothers Lawrence Thomas and Archie Thomas, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory loving wife Pamela Thomas of Port Arthur, children Chadwick Scott (Lakia) of Waco, TX, and Tyler Thomas, Glendale, CA.

Siblings include, Bertha Jones (Robert) of Bunkie, LA; Mack Thomas (Robin) of Austin, TX, Phillip Thomas (Sonia) of Port Arthur, TX, Julie Moore (Calvin) of Baytown, TX, Anthony Thomas (Harriet) of Moss Bluff, LA, Debbie Owens (Shawn) of Richmond, TX.

Also mourning his passing are two grandchildren, Chadley and Levyn Scott; sister-in-law, Jacqueline Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
