Nederland’s Scott re-elected TSUS board chair

William F. Scott of Nederland has been re-elected as chairman of the Texas State University System Board of Regents.

Scott is the CEO, chairman and owner of Trans-Global Solutions and chairman/general partner of TGS Development LP. He earned a bachelor’s degree in government from Lamar University, with which he has maintained strong ties as a member of the LU College of Business Board of Advisors, Comprehensive Campaign Cabinet and LU Foundation Board.

Also Friday, David Montagne of Beaumont was named the Board of Regents’ vice chair. Montagne is executive vice president and general manager for the Sabine River Authority of Texas.
